Cultivation: Sacred Bodies
Everything else in cultivation is earned. This is the one thing that is not.
Your realm is meditation. Your Dao is a choice you made. Your arts were found in a manual or comprehended on a mountainside. A sacred body (聖體) is none of those — it is what your flesh already was on the day you first drew breath, and no amount of practice will put one into a body that lacks it.
Sacred Bodies is a supporter add-on for Cultivation. It is available to Patreon supporters; Cultivation itself is free and always will be.
One roll, once, ever
You are measured a single time — on your first login, or when you start a new profile. Nothing before that roll influenced it and nothing after it changes it. There is no ritual to attempt, no item to farm, and no second chance.
Two separate things are drawn at that moment: one sacred body, and any number of physiques.
Most cultivators roll nothing
This is worth stating plainly, because it is the design rather than a disappointment.
| Outcome | Roughly |
|---|---|
| A sacred body | 2.5% — about 1 in 40 |
| No physiques at all | 78% |
| Exactly one physique | 19% |
| Two or more physiques | 2% |
A constitution everybody had would be a stat block. One almost nobody has is something a server talks about. If you roll nothing you have lost nothing — every road in Cultivation is still open to you, and a constitution is a shorter road rather than the only one.
When a sacred body is drawn, it is drawn evenly from the sixteen. The rare half of the event is having one at all, so the game does not then make one of the sixteen rarer still.
Sixteen sacred bodies
You carry at most one. A cultivator with two would not be doubly blessed; they would be two people.
| Body | What it is |
|---|---|
| Ancient Sacred Body | Golden blood that suppresses evil. Yin moves it less than it should, which makes a perfect Yin-Yang balance far easier to hold, and the flesh is harder than flesh has any business being. |
| Chaos Divine Body | The ultimate constitution. It comprehends and commands every element at once — not a wider Dao, but a body the Dao lock does not describe, so every elemental art is open to it. |
| Dao Fetus | A body that was already listening before it was born. Qi comes to it easily, the heavens judge its breakthroughs gently, and every gathered art condenses faster in its hands. |
| Firmament Overlord Body | A frame built for violence. Everything it swings hits harder — and what it swings with nothing at all hits harder still. |
| Yin Body | Pure cold. Its affinity for frost and for the Yin path is absolute, and the same coldness works away at the cultivator carrying it. |
| Yang Body | Pure fire. Flame and lava cannot touch it, which makes a lava lake the finest meditation seat on the map for exactly one person. |
And ten elemental bodies, one per Dao — the likeliest to turn up and the plainest of them. Their whole identity is that you were born already pointing down one path: its Qi comes faster and its road is shorter than anyone else's.

What every sacred body carries
On top of whatever makes it itself, every one of the sixteen carries the same four:
- +5% Qi absorption
- 3% less damage taken
- +5% stamina
- +20% aura size
That last one is the only part of a constitution other players can read from across a field.
Eight anatomical physiques
Narrower gifts, commoner than a sacred body, and they stack — with each other and on top of whatever body you have.
| Physique | What it is |
|---|---|
| Tyrant Strength Body | Muscle laid down wrong, in the way that wins fights. Strikes harder and is hurt more easily. |
| Yin-Yang Eyes | Eyes that see the two breaths moving, and so learn to hold them level. The balanced band is wider for you than for anyone else. |
| Spirit Sea | An unusually deep dantian. Qi comes in faster and there is further for it to go. |
| Hundred Meridians | Channels open from the start. Every gathered art condenses faster through them. |
| Bone of Jade | A skeleton that does not break. Plain, unglamorous toughness. |
| Windless Step | A body that weighs rather less than it looks like it should. You tire long after everyone else has. |
| Heaven's Blind Spot | The heavens lose track of you. Rituals pass quicker and their tribulations land softer. |
| Undying Marrow | Marrow that never stops rebuilding what the day took out of it. A deeper well of life. |
Each is rolled independently, which is what makes holding one uncommon, two rare, and several the sort of thing other cultivators repeat to each other — without any special case in the roll.
Tiers, and why they are not a ladder
Every physique carries a tier, decided at the instant you acquire it and fixed for life.
| Tier | Chance | Worth |
|---|---|---|
| Legendary | 60% | ×1 |
| King | 25% | ×1.5 |
| Saint | 12% | ×2.25 |
| Immortal | 3% | ×3.5 |
It is not something you climb. You do not grind a King physique into a Saint one, and no breakthrough will promote it. It is simply how well you were born with the thing — which means two cultivators sharing a physique are not sharing the same gift, and an Immortal-tier one is genuinely worth talking about.
A sacred body has no tier. It does not need one; having it at all is the rare part.
Two of them cost you something
Not everything here is a pure gift, and both cases are stated up front rather than left to be discovered months later.
- Tyrant Strength Body strikes harder and is hurt more easily. Both halves grow with the tier together, so an Immortal-tier Tyrant Strength Body is a dangerous thing to be as well as to fight.
- The Yin Body's affinity for cold is absolute, and that same coldness works away at its owner.
Where you see it
Your constitution has its own Constitution section on the Overview page of the Cultivation menu, listing your sacred body and every physique with its tier. Its effects also fold into the Overview's ordinary bonus rows, so a constitution's +5% Qi absorption sums with everything else granting the same rather than printing a second line.
/sacredbody tells you the same thing in chat, and the add-on ships Codex articles written as lore rather than as mechanics.
Commands
| Command | Who | What |
|---|---|---|
/sacredbody | anyone | What you were born with. |
/sacredbody reroll | admin | Re-roll your own constitution from scratch. |
/sacredbody reroll player <player> | admin | Re-roll somebody else's. |
/sacredbody set <body> | admin | Grant a specific body, or none to strip it. |
The admin subcommands use cultivation.admin, the same permission as Cultivation's own admin tools.
For server owners
Every rate and every number is in the config, and everything can be disabled individually — run the elemental bodies without Chaos Divine, or turn the whole system off, without touching anyone's save.
| Setting | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|
Sacred-Bodies-Enabled | true | The sacred-body half of the roll. |
Physiques-Enabled | true | The physique half. |
Sacred-Body-Chance | 0.025 | Chance of any sacred body. |
Physique-Chance | 0.03 | Chance of each physique, rolled separately. |
Disabled-Bodies | (empty) | Comma-separated ids to leave out of the pool. |
Disabled-Physiques | (empty) | The same, for physiques. |
Announce-On-Roll | true | Whether the player is told what they were born with. |
Tier-Weight-* | 60 / 25 / 12 / 3 | Relative tier chances — weights, not percentages, so you can zero one out without rebalancing the rest. |
Tier-Multiplier-* | 1 / 1.5 / 2.25 / 3.5 | What each tier is worth. |
All-Bodies-Qi-Percent | 5 | The shared bonuses, one key each. |
All-Bodies-Damage-Reduction-Percent | 3 | |
All-Bodies-Stamina-Percent | 5 | |
All-Bodies-Aura-Scale-Percent | 20 |
Every individual body and physique then has its own keys — Ancient-Yin-Resistance-Percent, DaoFetus-Charge-Time-Reduction-Percent, Tyrant-Fragility-Percent and so on — so any one of them can be retuned without affecting the others.
Version safety
Sacred Bodies checks in with this site to confirm it is a genuine, current build, and reads the published compatibility list alongside it.
If a future Cultivation release turns out to break this build, the add-on stands itself down and says exactly why in the console rather than quietly mispricing your combat. Nothing is deleted — every cultivator keeps the body and physiques they were born with, and all of it starts working again on the next boot once the versions match.
It fails open in every direction. An offline server, or one behind a strict firewall, is never affected by a failed check.
Getting it
Sacred Bodies is available to Patreon supporters. It requires Cultivation v0.7.4 or newer, and installs like any other add-on: drop the jar in your plugins folder beside Cultivation and restart.
Cultivation is free and will stay free. Supporting it is what pays for the time that goes into the free half.
